I had a discussion with my friend while studying for web and new media. He asked me "Why do people make their blog "Private" and "Just Invite the person who you like to share to give access to your blog" instead of making "Public"? It's a good question because those actions contradict with the purpose of the blog. What we learnt about the purpose of a blog is "to share opinions and knowledge" and gather "Interaction (Discussion, mainly by comments) , and if so, what is the point of making "Private" and limit people who can access your blog.
Many answers will be out there.. for their own reasons. (DPDP). :D
To be honest, I used to make my blog "Private" :) when I just write about my feelings.. , but it is not fun.. like writing boring diary. But sometimes, I wonder whether I could limit the person who can view my blogs (Just invite my friends). The main reason is I am just worried my brother would find it out and know all the things I hide .. (Such a clever little sister. :D)
Any ideas for my choices?? You are warmly welcome to give me whatever advice. :)
